April 29 - July 3, 2000 The Santa Cruz Skateboards team will hit the road this Spring/Summer for two months. The tour, entitled "Until The Wheels Come Off", will cover the entire United States. Co-sponsors include: Sports3, Independent, Emerica, 411VM, and Jamba Juice. Those braving the lengthy tour: Jayme Fortune, Vanik Hacobian, Mike Rafter, Tony Tieu, Ron Whaley, Steffan Attardo, Eric Bork, Kyle Kimberling, Levi Marvin, Quinn Montgomery, and Ryan Parsons. Weekly reports and video clips will constantly be updated and featured on scskate.com and sports3.com throughout the tour. Autograph signings will also take place in random Jamba Juice locations yet to be determined. In addition to hosting three premiere events in skateboarding, this year?s Vans Triple Crown will add women?s competitions to each stop of the tour, increase the series prize purse to a total of $217,500, and give away a 2000 Ford Ranger to the overall series-points champion. July 23 - July 25, 2000 Gravity Games Providence, Rhode Island The second annual alternative sports, lifestyle, and music circus will feature skateboarding (street and vert), freestyle motocross, BMX, wakeboarding, downhill skateboarding, in-line skating, and street luge.
